Any Acoustic Experts Out There?
I'm looking to add a catalytic converter in front of a muffler that was not designed to be run with a cat. It will be a small racing style cat. My question is, and I could not find this anywhere on the internet, what will this do to the sound?
I expect it will be quieter with the cat, which is find by me, but what frequencies are most affected - low or high? The passages thru a catalytic converter are about 1 or 2 mm square.
