The 2011 Porsche Club of America Upper Canada Region Open House Day (formerly Shift Into Spring) will be held inside the Canadian Air & Space Museum in Downsview Park, just north of the 401, where cars will meet aircraft. We hope you share the same passion for airplanes as for your wonderful road machines. There is a host of aircraft on display at the museum, including the Avro Arrow, with which you can have your photo taken. For more details about the CAS Museum, please visit http://www.casmuseum.org.
Open House Day and entry to the Canadian Air & Space Museum will be FREE for Porsche Club of America UCR members, your family members and any friends you bring along. You’ll just need to show your current membership card at the entrance to gain free admission to the CAS Museum and Open House. For your family members not covered by your associate membership card, and for your friends who come with you, admission will be FREE with the Special Admission Coupon. What a great opportunity to attend your Club’s Open House Day and enjoy the wonderful Canadian Air & Space Museum as a free bonus.
Upper Canada Region’s Event Chairs for Membership, Monthly Socials, Introductory Driving School/Driver Ed & Club Racing, Concours, Fun Runs, Rallies and Autocross, will all be on hand to show and tell you about the important events of the season ahead. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, decide on what appeals to you and sign up for the activities that will most certainly increase the fun and enjoyment of being a Porsche Club of America member. Of course, you’ll also be able to pick up some great stuff from the Goodie Store and meet with friends representing Porsche Cars Canada, professional tuning experts, specialty gear and tire suppliers and much more. You’ll be able to learn about latest developments at Porsche on a worldwide basis, and you’ll have ample opportunity to talk with experienced Club members about your Porsche and everything Porsche.
On top of that, we’ll be featuring a Show & Shine display for members to show off their beloved Porsches. All vehicles for the Show & Shine must be pre-registered, so please let us know now if you want to include your car and we’ll contact you to make the necessary arrangements.
