“On The Grass and In The Green” All Proceeds to Red Cross Disaster Relief

Sunday, June 3rd, 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, at Appleby College in Oakville.

The event is for Porsches only . All ages and types are welcome and will be divided into 18 separate classes.Each class winner and runner-up will receive a beautiful trophy. The competition will be decided through peer judging by all registered entrants. Additionally, there will be a People’s Choice Award for one of the registered cars, to be determined by all entrants and the attending spectators.

We want to see all of you out there, with your precious garage queens and your road-going drivers alike. Come and join the fun, bring the family, and enjoy an early Sunday with nothing but great cars and great people. Non-PCA members are welcome to enter their Porsches! All spectators are welcome free of charge and get to vote for the People’s Choice Award!

Elegant coffee, pastry and lunch service will be offered by ‘Chef Ryan Rajkumar’ of Appleby College, or feel free to bring your own picnic.

The Trillium BMW Club Street Survival School is NOT a performance driving school or an Auto Slalom event. The sole objective of this program is to teach young adults safer driving techniques and help them develop a mature mindset that may assist them in the future.

A few weeks ago, there was a CNBC special on substantial amounts of money Porsche made in the options market in attempt to purchase Volkswagen. Then the %$#$ hit the fan. Now who owns who? The article below offers some clues. OWM

Stuttgart, 7 May 2012. In the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2012, Porsche Automobil Holding SE (Porsche SE), Stuttgart, reported a profit after tax of 327 million euro at group level. The profit was primarily attributable to the good development of Porsche SE's two investments in the Volkswagen group and the Porsche Zwischenholding GmbH group. The profit from investments accounted for at equity amounted to 1.169 billion euro for the period from 1 January to 31 March 2012.
